The iPhone Evolution

Just when you thought you had the latest new gadget on the block, it becomes outdated, am I right? First Engadget's iPod family cemetery and now this hilarious iPhone graphic from cellphone9? If you just got an iPhone, I'm sure you're wondering when your hot new device will be a vintage geek prime target. We all know that Steve Jobs and his crew will have a second gen iPhone in the works- new and improved, minus all the glitches of course. Don't have a panic attack, it's going to be okay, you've got at least till the end of the year before the iPhone nano is released!

So dog years are 7 to every 1 human year... Technology is at leat 25 years to every one human year. In 4 years it will be an antique.. well a worthless antique...

What? This is kinda awesome. This makes the iphone more affordable to people who can't afford the $599 price tag. The only thing I wonder about is how the shuffle works... it looks kinda pointless with how small the screen is. Hmmm.

I don't think you have to worry about it looking like either of those mockups Eye-wink Apple is fairly innovative and I'm sure if they did a very small iPhone it would be better and more functional than that

I saw this photo months a go, love the shuffle... We could call it Lipstick phone... Wouldn't it be great to have a phone shaped as a lipstick, and in fact, to be lipstick at the same time Sticking out tongue

I actually find it kind of ridiculous! My boyfriend has the Iphone and I don't think a cheaper version with less options (lik the MSNBC article said, poss a Nano that works as a phone) is that great of an idea. The whole really neat thing about the Iphone is how much it can do....at least, that's what impresses me about it. The cheap $99 Sidekick (the Id I think it's called?) isn't that popular or successful either. A watered-down version doesn't really appeal to me, but that's just me..$600 IS pretty crazy for a phone.

I love the nano. Its like a motorola slvr but more functional. I went to the Police concert yesterday in Miami and this guy, all the way up in the nosebleed where I was used his iphone to take night pictures! Is that crazy or what?

I think I may get an iphone in about a year, when it's a lot cheaper and all of the "kinks" are out of it Smiling

not many kinks here. for a 1st gen device, its pretty solid.

There was a funnier mockup like this a while for the iPhone shuffle that only had one button, that would dial someone randomly from your address book. The tagline was "life is random".

Why everyone keep saying the iphone is big...when I first saw it I asked the guy is that really the phone because it was so lil compared to a sidekick...not to mention I owned a sidekick 3 for about 3 days before I returned it. I hated it and I hated t-mobile...I love my iphone though; I carry small purses so this fits perfect in my purse...... Might i add for the rest of you this was meant to be a joke...no way in hell apple would ever make stuff like an iphone nano...get real folks
