Fancy Wooden USB Device: Geeky or Geek Chic?

Last time we saw a wooden USB device it looked like an actual wooden stick, but this fancy wooden device from Thalbach Design takes earthy devices to a new level. It may not be gold and diamond laden, but it certainly has a design aesthetic we don't see everyday. Do you like the look?

I've never been one to like woodgrain type items. I think it looks cheesy in cars, I'd rather have carbon fiber, titanium or something like that.

For those of you who liked this, you've got class. Made out of burl wood; highly prized by the best woodworkers and very expensive. The dashboard in expensive cars like Rolls Royces are made out of this wood. Ditto yacht trim work. Not only does it look incredible, but its got to feel sensuous in the hand. Nice marriage of natural w/ techno.

It would be unique if it was reclaimed or FSC certified wood... otherwise it is a pointless use of more forest product.
