KarrySafe Phone Pouch: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic?

I wouldn't say the KarrySafe Phone Pouch ($12), looks like something you'd see the trendy BlackBerry fanatics on The Hills carrying on Melrose, but I do see its practical purposes. According to the MoMA the cases were "thoughtfully designed to deter common-criminal techniques like pick pocketing and bag snatching, these street-safe features include secure closures, locks, alarmed-breakaway straps, impact padding, and durable slash-resistant and waterproof materials." What do you think of them?

I was just gonna ask the same question. Looks like you could put in on your arm...or even use it to hold a water bottle..

I really don't know what's going on there... I thought it looked like men's underwear, possibly straight out of the tube Eye-wink

How about getting a purse with a zipper, or pockets with a zipper. Thats a pretty good defense mechanism against getting pick pocketed.

I don't quite understand where it goes.

I am so glad yall have mentioned that thing looking like men's underwear!!! That was my first thought as well!!! And I agree with SkinnyMarie, a zippered pocket or zippered purse work well at deterring thieves.

I think it looks sort of ugly. Not a big fan of the colors.
