I could only see that being useful if it's chilly, you've got a coat on, and you're concerned about pickpockets in a foreign country. Kinda like those hideaway password wallets.

Looks too much like a gun holder, and I really doubt people will wear this under their outer layer. May be more of an option for the men, but women have handbags, which they would need even if they wore this too, and women definitely would not wear this in addition to toting a handbag. Interesting concept, but not sure it will rock the industry.
