If you were on the fence about the teeny and chic Palm Centro, here's some news that may help your decision—the Centro is now available in pink!

Aside from the fact that it's now available in a fun new color, the Centro is great because it fits perfectly in the palm of your hand and is extremely lightweight. Palm's Centro includes a full QWERTY keyboard, touchscreen capability and get this, it only costs $100 with a two-year contract. All these great factors contributed to its spot in geeksugar's January must haves line-up!

Featured on Crave, this pretty-in-pink smartphone will run on the Sprint network and can currently be purchased online.

Oddly enough, if you are already a Sprint customer it's not $100, more like $500. WTF?! I'm so annoyed at this. I wish they would stop advertising it as $100. Why do I get punished for being a loyal Sprint customer for the past seven years?!

I love the phone but Sprint's customer service stinks so bad I wouldn't switch. It's a pretty color though.

Sorry, it's $399.99 to be exact. I checked the Sprint site.
For that kind of money I could buy an i-phone with music capabilities.

Oh, but if you sign a new two year contract they'll give you a whole $75 off (rolls eyes) I'm so fing mad about this. I'm ready to upgrade, but I refuse to pay that much for this phone. I hate Sprint

Brooklynbee, if you wait till your 18 month upgrade you can get it for $150 with a $50 mail in rebate. Sadly I already bought one in black, so I can't get the pink. Sad As for music, I'm not sure. I have a 1 GB memory card in mine for pictures and Microsoft Office stuff, but I'm pretty sure you're right.

Oh, but in order to get that price you do have to renew your contract for two years. *shrug* It's not like I'm switching, so whatever. I hate Verizon and Cingular a lot more than Sprint.

although i'm not switching to Sprint to get the Centro, it does play music. all the Treos and Centro come with Pocket Tunes. i strongly suggest a 4GB miniSD card.

Actually, I just ordered the phone from Sprint and I've been a customer for over 10 years. Even though I was only eligible for the $75 upgrade credit, the customer rep gave me the phone for $149.99 plus a $50 rebate. So their service seems to have changed over the years.
    =)
