Meredith Vieira Gives a MacBook Air Some Lovin'

I'm wondering what I'll do first when I get my hands on a MacBook Air. I'll probably examine its sleek exterior, check out its hidden ports, and give it the ultimate manila envelope size test. Well Ann, Matt , Al and Meredith from The Today Show got an up close and personal view of the new Air on yesterday's show. Ann asked what you can't do with it, Al and Matt went down its specs list and Meredith decided to lick it. Her exact words were, "I've heard that if you lick it, you own it." Hey, whatever works, right?! The shocking part about the whole thing is the fact that she openly admitted that she doesn't even own a laptop! Have a peek at the evidence below, which I spotted on Valleywag.

Sometimes she is so crude and vulgar. I remember when she was on Conan O'Brien and I swear if there wasnt a camera on she would have pounced him. I like conan just as much as the next girl, but please Meredith, keep your... in your pants. Barf!

I'm sure he meant LED, not LCD. And even though they didn't mention the optical drive-sharing (which is handy), it's still really hot.

I just felt a little freaked out when they all decided to get their hands in there and rub it. That was a little weird.

This is why I love Meredith! She doesn't take herself too seriously.

Am I only the person who is not impressed with Mac Air? Yeah it only weighs 3lbs but you have to give up things for that. Plus its $1800. That is ridiculous. Also how protected is that 3lbs if your computer falls. The strap on my computer broke and my computer slammed into the concrete. Luckily it was fine because it has some structure to it
