New Dropbox Photo Gallery Update

Mobile Dropbox Is Now Photo Friendly

File-hosting service Dropbox isn't just a place to store basic files anymore — it's now a place to view them in a beautiful setting too. This week, the company rolled out a new gallery view in the mobile version of its website and the latest update of Dropbox for Android. In the new format, tapping on a photo shows the image in full screen, and swiping displays the next photo in the gallery.

View the gallery feature by tapping on the Dropbox icon and selecting Photos in your mobile browser. In our test, the full-sized photos looked best in Google Chrome for iOS. Dropbox's new photo-friendly feature isn't available for iPhone yet, but we'll let you know when it arrives.

A little extra from Dropbox: if you need more space for photos and you're a university student, earn free storage by signing up for The Great Dropbox Space Race.
