This girl seems to be ashamed of her Mexican background and wants to distance herself from it. She's also ashamed of her curvy body and publicly moans about it while dieting herself rail thin. She loves whines about not being taken seriously when she's never taken the initiative to play a serious part. I hope she takes an honest look at these issues and changes her attitude for the better.

Nope, I don't think, your perception is right, mamk63. I read about her involvement with the integrtation of Mexican and other Southamerican people into the U.S. And I don#t think, she is exactly "ashamed" of her body. As I understood, she just doesn't pay that much attention to those "bodily" things personally. I appreciate that.
And as for her roles: I consider her role in "Dark Angel" as a very serious one. She should do more TV series, definitely.
