That is so funny that she never had a cell phone. That just goes to show you can run a billion dollar company and not be a slave to electronics.

if you're oprah, you don't need a cell phone because you have 4 assistants trailing behind you wherever you go
if she needs to get ahold of stedman or gayle or other personal calls, she can use one of theirs (which she obviously pays for) and all busines stuff would come through there too
