Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen arrived at LAX on Saturday after spending time back in NYC. Ashley's favorite black Nikes probably came in handy as she navigated her way through the airport with her boyfriend Justin Bartha, while Mary-Kate was rolling solo without her man Nate. Ashley and Justin headed on home, but Mary-Kate took a break from enjoying the recession sales to join friends and a canine companion for a meal.

Ashley Olsen was dressed down today for an afternoon of running errands in NYC with a couple friends. Of course, for street style star Ashley, going casual means carrying a huge Fendi bag and wearing a chic black coat — though instead of sky-high heels, she sported a pair of Nikes. It's nice to see that even fashion writer Ashley is willing to kick it in sneakers once in a while like the rest of us.

Ashley Olsen was spotted on her way back to her car after scouting out some retail space close to the twins' home away from home, Maxfield's in LA, earlier this week. Ash has had another busy week home in California, but now it's time for a little relaxation over the long holiday weekend. Whether or not she's willing to brave the Black Friday crowds to score some sales, she could always gift her loved ones with pieces from one of their lines or their new coffee table book.
