Despite the praise Kate's receiving for her work in both The Reader and Revolutionary Road, she knows what's most important. Kate opened up to Elle UK about her life, finding an unexpected friendship with Leonardo DiCaprio, and her very happy marriage.

Kate Winslet was out and about in the West Village in New York City this week, looking stylish as she wrapped up warm against the cold weather. Kate is the striking cover star for Elle magazine this month, and she spilled the beans on how she keeps in shape for high stress nude scenes. Kate said:

English rose Kate Winslet hit the red carpet in Los Angeles last night promoting her latest movie Revolutionary Road in which she stars with Leonardo DiCaprio. She again proved that she doesn't need airbrushing showing off her amazing curves in this body con Balmain mini dress. She teamed it with Christian Louboutin heels and a simple black clutch. 
Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio looked like perfection at last night's LA premiere of Revolutionary Road. The dynamic duo have showed off their friendship off the screen leading up to the premiere and now it's almost time for us to see how it translates back onto the big screen all these years after Titanic. Kate had her husband and the film's director Sam Mendes with her while Leo was accompanied by his best friend Lukas Haas.

The always dashing Clive Owen is in frosty London at the moment, shooting scenes for his new movie The Boys Are Back In Town. In the new year he's bound for Berlin as he will be joining Kate Winslet and Jude Law at the 2009 Berlin Film Festival. Known as the Berlinale, the festival will open on February 5 with the premiere of Clive's movie The International — a spy thriller in which he costars alongside new mum Naomi Watts. 
Kate Winslet may not have been wearing another hot dress, but she still looked great in all black at a screening of The Reader in London earlier today. Besides being back on her home turf, she has plenty to smile about now that Golden Globe nominations have been announced. Her new films scored a total of eight nods, which just gives audiences even more reason to see lovely Kate show off her skills in The Reader and Revolutionary Road before awards season is in full swing.
