One of the biggest fashion events of the year happened in May when the highly anticipated Sex and the City Movie was released and premiered here in London! Our favourite New York gals headed in to town and hit the red carpet in their best frocks which did not disappoint. They were joined by a whole host of British celebrities including model Daisy Lowe as well as British designer (who created the wedding dress) Vivienne Westwood.

Last night a smattering of celebs and a bunch of everyday ladies with exceptional stories got together to be honoured at the Cosmopolitan Women Of The Year Awards. Three time hostess Fearne Cotton got the ceremony going, wearing two rather striking outfits for the occasion, I'm loving her long black jumpsuit! In fact black was the colour for a lot of the attendees, Kim Cattrall wore a short silky dress, Alesha Dixon dazzled in a sequinned number and Dannii Minogue looked fabulous in her intricately cut dress.

Three out of the fabulous foursome met at the New York Public Library last night to launch Sex and the City on DVD. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall posed and laughed together missing their Charlotte, Kristin Davis. The extended version of the movie hits video stores on Tuesday and the ladies didn't miss the opportunity to throw a party.

This month I'm looking forward to various acting treats. There are two big films hitting our cinema screens on 5 September, and then the excitement of live performance as a major US actor takes to the West End stage. I'm also excited for the DVD release of three movies. 
Dame Helen Mirren and Kim Cattrall flew the flag for gorgeous older women at the Roma Fiction Fest yesterday, bringing their on-going glamour to the eternal city of Rome. It's so refreshing to see these actresses smiling wide and displaying those lovely laughter lines around their eyes. My girl Bella UK has got the lowdown on eye creams for those of you who want a little bottle-based assistance!

At first, I was a bit baffled why these cutie doxie models were involved at all but my eagle eyes discovered that she's actually seen here in the pet department – check out those red toy squeaky slippers in the background!
This department store has some of my fave merch for our furry friends – in fact, when I spent all that time in London, I picked up a cute tshirt for my dog that he still wears to this day!
