&lt;p&gt;If you followed my progress, you&#039;d know that I lost a few pounds and gained some skills in my &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/tag/Wii+Fit+Fitness+Journal&quot; &gt;month-long Wii Fitness challenge&lt;/a&gt;, so I&#039;m a believer, but that was several months ago. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;While I did it largely as an experiment, I want to know if those of you who helped beat &lt;b&gt;GTA IV&lt;/b&gt; and bought the Wii Fit, have actually gotten fitter as a result. Do tell!&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Early Preview: Tomb Raider Underworld For Wii and DS</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/2398852</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;I&#039;ve totally been on a gaming binge these past few weeks, and who can blame me? We&#039;re ramping up for the holiday season, and I&#039;m trying to figure out which games to add to my wish list! There are a whole slew of games hitting the shelves in the next few months, and I got a chance to check out one of them at an early preview last week. I got my hands on &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.tombraider.com/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Tomb Raider: Underworld&lt;/a&gt; — both the Wii and DS versions — and I already have a clear favorite between the two. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/43_2008/1462972b97d312b0_TRUBig1.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image preview&quot; width=&quot;550&quot; height=&quot;325&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Tomb Raider: Underworld&lt;/b&gt; takes us to the depths of the oceans and to new locales like Thailand, Mexico, and the Arctic to unlock the mystery of Thor&#039;s Hammer — a &lt;a href=&quot;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thor&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;mythical Norse God&lt;/a&gt; who was said to smash mountains into valleys, and possessed the strength to destroy Gods. Of course, Lara is not the only one seeking this hammer, and finds herself in some interesting situations. Natch.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;div style=&quot;float:left;line-height:8px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:9px&quot;&gt;&lt;div id=mask-75852 class=mask style=&#039;;width:100px;height:100px;overflow:hidden;background:#FFF;margin:0px 8px 8px 0px;border:0px solid #111;padding:0px;&#039; onmouseover={style.borderColor=&#039;#ff3399&#039;} onmouseout={style.borderColor=&#039;#111&#039;}&gt;&lt;div style=&#039;margin-left:0px;margin-top:0px;padding:0px;&#039;&gt;&lt;a target=&quot;gallery4&quot; class=&quot;thumb2 active&quot; href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/gallery/view/2399199?page=0,0,0&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/43_2008/TRU1.mediumsquare.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot;  class=&quot;image mediumsquare&quot; height=&quot;100&quot; width=&quot;100&quot; /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style=&quot;float:left;line-height:8px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:9px&quot;&gt;&lt;div id=mask-89272 class=mask style=&#039;;width:100px;height:100px;overflow:hidden;background:#FFF;margin:0px 8px 8px 0px;border:0px solid #111;padding:0px;&#039; onmouseover={style.borderColor=&#039;#ff3399&#039;} onmouseout={style.borderColor=&#039;#111&#039;}&gt;&lt;div style=&#039;margin-left:0px;margin-top:0px;padding:0px;&#039;&gt;&lt;a target=&quot;gallery4&quot; class=&quot;thumb2 &quot; href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/gallery/view/2399199?page=0,1,0&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/43_2008/TRU2.mediumsquare.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot;  class=&quot;image mediumsquare&quot; height=&quot;100&quot; width=&quot;100&quot; /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style=&quot;float:left;line-height:8px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:9px&quot;&gt;&lt;div id=mask-83439 class=mask style=&#039;;width:100px;height:100px;overflow:hidden;background:#FFF;margin:0px 8px 8px 0px;border:0px solid #111;padding:0px;&#039; onmouseover={style.borderColor=&#039;#ff3399&#039;} onmouseout={style.borderColor=&#039;#111&#039;}&gt;&lt;div style=&#039;margin-left:0px;margin-top:0px;padding:0px;&#039;&gt;&lt;a target=&quot;gallery4&quot; class=&quot;thumb2 &quot; href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/gallery/view/2399199?page=0,2,0&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/43_2008/TRU3.mediumsquare.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot;  class=&quot;image mediumsquare&quot; height=&quot;100&quot; width=&quot;100&quot; /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style=&quot;float:left;line-height:8px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:9px&quot;&gt;&lt;div id=mask-40790 class=mask style=&#039;;width:100px;height:100px;overflow:hidden;background:#FFF;margin:0px 8px 8px 0px;border:0px solid #111;padding:0px;&#039; onmouseover={style.borderColor=&#039;#ff3399&#039;} onmouseout={style.borderColor=&#039;#111&#039;}&gt;&lt;div style=&#039;margin-left:0px;margin-top:0px;padding:0px;&#039;&gt;&lt;a target=&quot;gallery4&quot; class=&quot;thumb2 &quot; href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/gallery/view/2399199?page=0,3,0&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/43_2008/TRU4.mediumsquare.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot;  class=&quot;image mediumsquare&quot; height=&quot;100&quot; width=&quot;100&quot; /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style=&quot;float:left;line-height:8px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:9px&quot;&gt;&lt;div id=mask-97357 class=mask style=&#039;;width:100px;height:100px;overflow:hidden;background:#FFF;margin:0px 8px 8px 0px;border:0px solid #111;padding:0px;&#039; onmouseover={style.borderColor=&#039;#ff3399&#039;} onmouseout={style.borderColor=&#039;#111&#039;}&gt;&lt;div style=&#039;margin-left:0px;margin-top:0px;padding:0px;&#039;&gt;&lt;a target=&quot;gallery4&quot; class=&quot;thumb2 &quot; href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/gallery/view/2399199?page=0,4,0&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/43_2008/TRUDS1.mediumsquare.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot;  class=&quot;image mediumsquare&quot; height=&quot;100&quot; width=&quot;100&quot; /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br clear=&quot;all&quot;&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Gamers Praying For an End to the Wii Shortage This Season</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/2321778</link>

Fear not my gaming friends. This year, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime hopes there will be plenty of Wii and DS systems to go around this holiday season, and will be &lt;a href=&quot;http://techland.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2008/10/06/no-slowdown-for-wii-and-ds-says-nintendo-prez/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;increasing shipments for both consoles by 50 percent&lt;/a&gt; between October and December. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Although Fils-Aime tippy-toed around stating that Nintendo will for sure be able to put a Wii in the hands of all who want one, he&#039;s hopeful that they can come through. See what he says about the situation when you &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Wii Music: Don&#039;t Call It Rock Band </title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/2276118</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;After I got my party on with &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/2278466&quot; &gt;Raving Rabbids&lt;/a&gt; and had my fill with the &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/2257300&quot; &gt;Personal Trainer Chef Edition&lt;/a&gt;, it was time to rock out with the Wii! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/2040007&quot; &gt;Wii Music&lt;/a&gt; (coming out Oct. 20), is Nintendo&#039;s answer to &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/tags/Rock+Band&quot; &gt;Rock Band&lt;/a&gt;, but is only similar to it in the sense that you&#039;re standing-up and interactively making music. Elements of competition are removed, and replaced with the ability and encouragement to play songs any way you want. &lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;script type=&quot;text/javascript&quot;&gt;
	var so2303652 = new SWFObject(&#039;/static/flash/mediaplayer.swf&#039;,&#039;mpl&#039;,&#039;400&#039;,&#039;300&#039;,&#039;7&#039;);
	so2303652.addParam(&#039;allowfullscreen&#039;,&#039;true&#039;);
	so2303652.addVariable(&quot;file&quot;,&#039;2303652.flv&#039;);
	so2303652.addVariable(&#039;height&#039;, 328);
	so2303652.addVariable(&#039;image&#039;,&#039;/media/cooked/thumbs/2303652.jpg&#039;);
	so2303652.addVariable(&#039;width&#039;,&#039;400&#039;);
	so2303652.addVariable(&#039;logo&#039;,&#039;/static/imgs/watermark/geeksugar.png&#039;);
	so2303652.write(&#039;player_2303652&#039;);
	&lt;/script&gt;		   &lt;/center&gt;
	   &lt;/div&gt;
	   &lt;div id=&quot;spi_tabs_bot&quot;&gt;
		   &lt;div id=&quot;spi_tabs_botL&quot;&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
		   &lt;div id=&quot;spi_tabs_botR&quot;&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
	   &lt;/div&gt;
	&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/center&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Using the Wiimote and Nunchuk controls, you can choose among a ton of instruments like piano, violin, guitar and the cat and dog (you read that correctly), and then play with your friends to make stylized versions of classic songs. The music is a bit more midi-sounding than &lt;b&gt;Rock Band&lt;/b&gt; or &lt;b&gt;Guitar Hero&lt;/b&gt;, the avatars just Miis, and all the songs super family-friendly, which makes &lt;b&gt;Wii Music&lt;/b&gt; a really great option if you want to expose kids to a music game, but aren&#039;t that comfortable with the graphics and songs that the other games provide. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Check out the video to see it in action and hear what &quot;Material Girl&quot; would have sounded like if Madonna were a kitteh cat!&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party for the Wii and Nintendo DS!</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/2278466</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;Get ready, get set, because &lt;b&gt;Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party&lt;/b&gt; by Ubisoft will be making its way to our hearts and our homes just in time for the holiday season. Designed for the Nintendo Wii and DS, this fun game offers a variety of wacky mini-games that spoof popular culture and test your skill and insane movement talents! Two of my favorite &lt;b&gt;Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party&lt;/b&gt; games include the ski hill game where you get to sit on the Wii Balance Board and steer with your butt as you go down a ski slope (as you encounter obstacles and try to gain points) and the dancing game where you get your groove on and follow the moves on the screen with your wiimote to get points!  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;center&gt;	&lt;div style=&#039;width:455px&#039; id=&quot;spi_tabs_container&quot;&gt;
	   &lt;div id=&quot;spi_tabs_top&quot;&gt;
		   &lt;div id=&quot;spi_tabs_topL&quot;&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
		   &lt;div id=&quot;spi_tabs_topR&quot;&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
	   &lt;/div&gt;
	   &lt;div class=&quot;panel  chatter_chatter fbceleb &quot; &gt;
			   &lt;center&gt;	&lt;script type=&quot;text/javascript&quot; src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/static/js/swfobject.js&quot;&gt;&lt;/script&gt;
	&lt;p style=margin:0px;padding:0px id=&quot;player_2274846&quot;&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer&quot;&gt;Get Flash&lt;/a&gt; to see this player.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;script type=&quot;text/javascript&quot;&gt;
	var so2274846 = new SWFObject(&#039;/static/flash/mediaplayer.swf&#039;,&#039;mpl&#039;,&#039;400&#039;,&#039;300&#039;,&#039;7&#039;);
	so2274846.addParam(&#039;allowfullscreen&#039;,&#039;true&#039;);
	so2274846.addVariable(&quot;file&quot;,&#039;2274846.flv&#039;);
	so2274846.addVariable(&#039;height&#039;, 328);
	so2274846.addVariable(&#039;image&#039;,&#039;/media/cooked/thumbs/2274846.jpg&#039;);
	so2274846.addVariable(&#039;width&#039;,&#039;400&#039;);
	so2274846.addVariable(&#039;logo&#039;,&#039;/static/imgs/watermark/geeksugar.png&#039;);
	so2274846.write(&#039;player_2274846&#039;);
	&lt;/script&gt;		   &lt;/center&gt;
	   &lt;/div&gt;
	   &lt;div id=&quot;spi_tabs_bot&quot;&gt;
		   &lt;div id=&quot;spi_tabs_botL&quot;&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
		   &lt;div id=&quot;spi_tabs_botR&quot;&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
	   &lt;/div&gt;
	&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/center&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You can even play co-op or battle your friends simultaneously with up to four players, or go crazy with up to eight players in party mode. Oh, and if that isn&#039;t enough, you&#039;ll be able to customize your own bunny to give him a unique look. To get an idea about how this game works, check out my video! &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Aly and AJ Design Guitar Hero and Rock Band Guitars </title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/2085918</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;I&#039;m not overly familiar with this female duo, but popular to to the tween generations, teen pop band Aly and AJ, will be coming out with their own guitars for games like &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2008/09/24/aly-aj-show-off-guitar-hero-and-rock-band-girl-guitars.htm&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Guitar Hero and Rock Band for the Wii and PS2&lt;/a&gt; in a few weeks. Each guitar will cost a cool $70, and fans will be able to choose from Aly&#039;s Guitar, which will feature a heart and cross bone print in a pink and brown color, or AJ&#039;s pink Guitar that features a purple zebra print and is in the shape of a heart. Performance Designed Products, the makers of the guitars, will create one of the guitars specifically for tweens, ages 8 to 12 while the other will be targeted for teens and older. Wonder if they have one in my size? &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Natasha Bedingfield Gets Down With Boogie Superstar</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/1896548</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;EA announced yesterday that Natasha Bedingfield will be the &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.ea.com/read/20080827-BoogieSuper.xml&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;official spokesperson for their newest singing and dancing game called Boogie Superstar&lt;/a&gt;. Why &lt;b&gt;Superstar&lt;/b&gt;? Well, the fact that there are 40 new tracks by stars like The Jonas Brothers, Fall Out Boy, Leona Lewis, Katy Perry, &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/1890206&quot; &gt;my man Kanye&lt;/a&gt;, and of course Natasha herself, makes it a pretty big deal. Exclusively for your Wii system, &lt;b&gt;Boogie Superstar&lt;/b&gt; is like a DDR/Singstar mash-up that not only has you showing off your vocal prowess, but uses the Wii&#039;s motion sensing technology to have you perform a sweat-inducing dance routine as well. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/35_2008/BoogieSuperstar.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image preview&quot; width=&quot;550&quot; height=&quot;445&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You could play alone in your room, but why not battle it out with your buds to see who can outperform who on &lt;a href=&quot;http://popsugar.com/1058252&quot; &gt;Paula Abdul&#039;s new track&lt;/a&gt;? It will be like &lt;b&gt;American Idol&lt;/b&gt; in your own living room, &lt;a href=&quot;http://buzzsugar.com/1891098&quot; &gt;minus the crazy judges&lt;/a&gt;. Limber up and start your voice lessons now, cause &lt;b&gt;Boogie Superstar&lt;/b&gt; &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.ea.com/boogiesuperstar/home.action&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;will hit the shelves this October&lt;/a&gt;!&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Miis Sneak Their Way Into Guitar Hero World Tour </title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/1886334</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;If you don&#039;t think you&#039;ll be able to break away from &lt;b&gt;Guitar Hero&lt;/b&gt; long enough to check out &lt;b&gt;Wii Music&lt;/b&gt; this October, but like the idea of seeing your Mii rock out on guitar then you, my friend, are in luck. The Wii version of the upcoming &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/1737281&quot; &gt;Guitar Hero World Tour&lt;/a&gt; will have a special game &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.nintendowiifanboy.com/2008/08/21/guitar-heros-mii-freestyle-mode-explained/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;exclusive to Wii players called &quot;Mii Freestyle&quot;&lt;/a&gt; that lets you jam with a friend, and see your Mii playing along on screen. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/34_2008/ghwt.wii.mii.freestyle.490w.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image center preview&quot; width=&quot;490&quot; height=&quot;304&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Similar to the game&#039;s &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/slideshow/1880379?page=0%2C2&quot; &gt;Music Studio mode&lt;/a&gt;, Mii Freestyle lets you pick and choose the notes you play (hence the whole freestyle concept), and you can even jam with the Nunchuck and Wiimote air-guitar style. Yes, you heard me, air guitar. I better get my game face on, stat! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.joystiq.com/page/3/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Source&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Remember how unbearable &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/800729&quot;&gt;the lead up was to Super Mario Galaxy&lt;/a&gt; was? Yeah, it&#039;s like that over the next few months for me. I hope I can make it through! If you&#039;re a smart gamer, and you&#039;ve been saving up for the end of the year game season, good news – I have some pretty sure bets on which ones you should be holding out for!

Check out my upcoming game slideshow, and please try to keep your drooling to a minimum!

 <title>Get Your Game On: August Releases</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/slideshow/1848728</link>
 <description>&lt;a href=&quot;/slideshow/1848728?page=0&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/32_2008/augustgames.xlarge.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;Get Your Game On: August Releases&quot; title=&quot;Get Your Game On: August Releases&quot; class=&quot;image xlarge inline left&quot; /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Hey there. Yup, it&#039;s August and boy am I ready for Fall! Not &#039;cause I hate the warm weather and BBQs but because we&#039;re getting closer to some pretty hot titles set to hit the shelves in the final quarter of the year.

There are a few games I&#039;m stoked about now, but not as excited as I am to play &lt;b&gt;Spore&lt;/b&gt; and &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/905542&quot;&gt;Little Big Planet&lt;/a&gt;! But keep your chin up, my picks for this month are worth a look. Check &#039;em out in the slideshow! &lt;div id=&#039;pager&#039; style=&#039;margin:25px auto;text-align:center;margin:8px; &#039;&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;/slideshow/1848728?page=0&quot;&gt;Start Slideshow&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description>

 <title>Game On! Celebrity Sports Showdown For the Wii </title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/1867389</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;Coming this holiday season to the Nintendo Wii, a star-studded video game spectacle: &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.gamespot.com/news/6195646.html?sid=6195646&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Celebrity Sports Showdown&lt;/a&gt;! Celebs like Fergie, Nelly Furtado, Keith Urban, LeAnn Rimes, Sugar Ray Leonard, Kristi Yamaguchi, Paul Pierce, Reggie Bush, and Mia Hamm go head-to-head in games of fighter-jet racing, slalom skiing, inner-tubing, curling, canoeing and volleyball — Yes, that&#039;s Fergie (wearing a Tiara?) and Nelly getting physical in a game of dodgeball. Can&#039;t wait to get our hands on this one to take it for a test drive, but we&#039;re loving the fact that it will accommodate up to four players for multiplayer action. Stay tuned for more info and release dates!&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Strong Bad&#039;s Cool Game For Attractive People Out Now!</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/1846598</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;You gotta know &lt;a href=&quot;http://homestarrunner.com/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Homestar Runner&lt;/a&gt;, right? Well the Internet sensation and his pal Strong Bad have put out their very own PC and downloadable &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.nintendo.com/wii/wiiware&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;WiiWare&lt;/a&gt; game called Strong Bad&#039;s Cool Game for Attractive People! Being released in a series of episodes, the first called &quot;Homestar Ruiner&quot; was released Monday and will cost you 1,000 Wii Points or $9 to download on your PC. You may wonder how &lt;b&gt;HSR&lt;/b&gt; can possibly make a video game out of their letter answering, cartoon making, and milk snorting, but since I love Homestar Runner so, &lt;i&gt;so&lt;/i&gt; much, I&#039;m totally getting this, no questions asked. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/32_2008/strongbadg1.preview.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image center preview&quot; width=&quot;450&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The first episode starts with Strong Bad&#039;s plans to beat up Homestar Runner going awry, and somehow ends with an unwanted houseguest ruining his flow. Click through story points and mini-games to progress the episode, and be granted bonus features if you score high enough after the level is through. Did you download it yet? What do you think? &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>New Mario and Zelda Games Hitting the Wii </title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/1787765</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/29_2008/e3.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image left preview&quot;height=&quot;360&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;If you&#039;ve been wondering what&#039;s next for the Wii after conquering &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/800729&quot; &gt;Super Mario Galaxy&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;b&gt;Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess&lt;/b&gt;, then wonder no more. The &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.e3expo.com/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;E3 Summit kicked off this week&lt;/a&gt;, and the President of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, revealed yesterday at a press event that &lt;a href=&quot;http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/07/nintendo-new-ma.html&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;new titles for both Mario and Zelda are in the works&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Iwata admitted there is a dire need for quality games like &lt;b&gt;Super Mario Galaxy&lt;/b&gt; for the Wii, which I have to totally agree with, since the sub-par mass of third party games and movie tie-ins are getting a bit old. Although he didn&#039;t reveal any other info, I&#039;m totally stoked already! Bring on more Mario! &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Wii Fit Fitness Journal: Week Three </title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/1684023</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/23_2008/KWIIBOXING_0.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image left preview&quot; width=&quot;260&quot; height=&quot;400&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;My 30 day &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/tag/Wii+Fit+Fitness+Journal&quot; &gt;Wi Fit Fitness Challenge&lt;/a&gt; is fast approaching the home stretch, and I couldn&#039;t be happier with the results! In just three weeks, I&#039;m down four pounds, which may not seem like a lot, but it&#039;s pretty awesome considering &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/1632001&quot; &gt;I stopped my usual routine of going to the gym and didn&#039;t change my eating habits&lt;/a&gt;. Although I might miss my goal of losing eight pounds, I think losing any inches (and getting closer to a healthier BMI) is a pretty good testament that the Wii Fit really does work. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I spent a ton of time getting down with Rhythm Boxing, and increased my aerobic fitness (surely at the dismay of my downstairs neighbors) with the Free Run this week. I&#039;m not so enthused about jogging in the real world, but when it comes to running with Wii Fit, I&#039;m a calorie burner! Who knew!? To hear more about why I&#039;m so into the Free Runs, and get a few more tips on how to fire up your Wii Fit workouts, just &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>First Look at the Wii Fit and Rules for the Fitness Test</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/1632001</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;Yesterday, I hit the gym. . .I mean, the Wii Fit for a taste of what&#039;s to come in &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/1629830&quot; &gt;my 30 day Wii Fit Fitness Test&lt;/a&gt;. Although I wasn&#039;t expecting to break a sweat, I did have a nice dewy glow after trying out a few of the Wii Fit&#039;s features. My fave so far? Hula Hooping!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/20_2008/wiifit3.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image center preview&quot; width=&quot;550&quot; height=&quot;298&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You may be wondering what rules I&#039;ll be setting for myself this month as I begin the 30 day Wii Fit Fitness Test. They are simple, but I can promise that I&#039;ll stick to them to give you the most accurate results possible. I&#039;ll even stop hitting the gym and make Wii Fit my only source of exercise for a full month! Am I scared? No. Cause even if I don&#039;t lose a pound, I&#039;m sure I&#039;ll have a blast anyway. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To check out the rules and some of our initial reactions to a few of the games, just &lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;May is yet another month packed full of movie-to-game titles that I hope (fingers crossed) will be as awesome as the films are. I&#039;ve been putting in mega OT with &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/1577021&quot; &gt;Mario Kart&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/1590312&quot; &gt;GTA IV&lt;/a&gt;, and I hope to add a few more to my schedule this week to give you more in depth reviews so that you can make an informed decision on which ones are worth dropping some cash on! Which games are you looking forward to? Are they not on my list? Let us know which are on your &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/tags/must+haves&quot; &gt;must have list&lt;/a&gt; in the comments below!&lt;br /&gt;

 <title>Are You Still Minus a Wii? </title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/1593236</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/18_2008/amazon-wii1.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image left preview&quot; width=&quot;300&quot; height=&quot;331&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Don&#039;t hate me, but I&#039;ve had my Wii since they first hit the shelves back in 2006. I know, I know, some people are still scouring through weekly Target ads, &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/747241&quot; &gt;obsessively clicking refresh&lt;/a&gt; on Amazon, and &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/887997&quot; &gt;getting up at the crack of dawn to wait outside a game store&lt;/a&gt; just on the off chance they might get one in stock. I understand your pain and I&#039;m not here to brag, just to ask the question on everyone&#039;s mind: Why are Wii&#039;s still so hard to find? &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;With the Wii heading towards its second birthday this year, why the heck can&#039;t those unlucky folks get their hands on one? Unfortunately, &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/DN-gamer_0329gl.ART.State.Edition1.464cd43.html&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;some analysts say it&#039;s due to the dropping value of the all mighty dollar&lt;/a&gt;. With much more profits being made in Europe, some speculate Nintendo is attempting to squeeze all it can out of the European market with their Wii supply before re-stocking the shelves here in the US. But this isn&#039;t the only theory, to learn more, just &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Mario Kart Wii Review: Another First Place Finish </title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/1577021</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;I don&#039;t have to tell you that I&#039;m a big time Nintendo fan, what with my DS always in tow, and all my &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/tags/super+Mario+Bros&quot; &gt;Super Mario Bros&lt;/a&gt; paraphernalia that litters my bookshelves . . . oh, well, you probably haven&#039;t seen that, have you? Anyway, yesterday afternoon, the Nintendo stork dropped a sweet little box on my desk, and I didn&#039;t even have time to tell you since I literally &quot;raced&quot; home (get it — raced?) and started playing my copy of &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/tags/Mario+Kart+Wii&quot; &gt;Mario Kart Wii&lt;/a&gt;! Yes, racing fans, I got the scoop on one of the hottest games to hit the shelves this Spring, and I just &lt;i&gt;had&lt;/i&gt; to test it right away. Who wouldn&#039;t?  As you might be able to tell, I was totally stoked to get the chance to play MKW early, since there is a &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/987054&quot; &gt;special place in my heart for racers&lt;/a&gt;. But seriously, Mario Kart Wii is just as fun as you&#039;d imagined.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/17_2008/mkart1.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image preview&quot; width=&quot;550&quot; height=&quot;420&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
When I first opened the box, the first thing I noticed was that the &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/1527361&quot; &gt;Wii Wheel&lt;/a&gt; was smaller than I expected, but still fits nicely into your hands. It might even fit into your eight year old&#039;s hands, if you&#039;d let them have a turn, that is! But unfortunately, the pack only comes with one wheel, so you should keep an eye out for additional ones so you can play nicely with others. After popping in the disk, inserting my Wiimote into the wheel, and doing a little Mario jig, I was ready to race. Isn&#039;t it funny how starting up a new Wii game for the first time always brings out the kid in you? To find out more about Mario Kart Wii, and to see more pics, just &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Lost Winds Coming to WiiWare</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/1553013</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;First previewed at this year&#039;s Game Developers Conference, &lt;b&gt;Lost Winds&lt;/b&gt; will be a title to watch out for on the Wii in the upcoming months. Although I&#039;m totally looking forward to the much hyped &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.geeksugar.com/1553976&quot; &gt;Grand Theft Auto IV&lt;/a&gt;, I do like a nice, friendly Nintendo game to have some fun with. &lt;b&gt;Lost Winds&lt;/b&gt; has you playing as Taku as you navigate your way through the world of Mistralis. In this world, you are trying to find and piece together shards of a spirit stone with the help of the wind called Enril, which you also have control over. Using the nunchuck to direct Taku, and the Wiimote to aim Enril&#039;s breezes, you not only help Taku jump, but can push over rocky obstacles, light torches and spray water.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/1/15300/16_2008/lostwinds1.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image center preview&quot; width=&quot;500&quot; height=&quot;282&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
OK, so it seems to be a fun and interesting puzzle game, but it&#039;s totally pretty, right?! I love little Taku and his cape, plus it kind of reminds me of &lt;b&gt;Zelda&lt;/b&gt;. &lt;b&gt;Lost Winds&lt;/b&gt; doesn&#039;t yet have a release date, but word has it that it will be out on WiiWare very soon. Check out more screens when you &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Get Your Game On: March Releases</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/1099583</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;Can you smell that? Not only is Spring in the air, but I&#039;m getting a slight whiff of &lt;b&gt;Super Smash Bros Brawl&lt;/b&gt;! Release day is finally drawing near, and although it&#039;s not the only game that I&#039;m looking forward to, it&#039;s definitely at the top of my &quot;must buy&quot; list this month. Bonus for me, my local &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.gamestop.com/gs/ssbb/tournament/default.asp&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Gamestop is hosting an in-store Brawl showdown&lt;/a&gt; (with some pretty sweet prizes), to help count down the minutes until midnight when we can take our own copies home!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl0/1/15300/10_2008/SSBBT_0.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image center preview&quot; height=&quot;372&quot; width=&quot;500&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;But there are other games out there for me to get excited about as well. I&#039;m also looking forward to some bugs, some space men and a few ghosts to fill my gaming quota. Check out a few more of my choice selections – while I warm up my Brawling thumbs – when you &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>CES 2008: Interactive Dance Mat For the Wii</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/946346</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;If you enjoy dancing games like &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/tags/dance+dance+revolution&quot; &gt;Dance Dance Revolution&lt;/a&gt;, CTA Digital has created this &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.amazon.com/CTA-WI-DM-Wii-Dancing-Mat/dp/B0011FK4M2&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Wii Dancing Mat&lt;/a&gt; that is compatible with Wii dancing games such as Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party. With four directional touch pads, you are able to mimic the instructed moves you see from the video game. I saw some crazy Wii accessories at &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/tags/2008+CES&quot; &gt;CES&lt;/a&gt;, but this was definitely one of my faves. It&#039;s time to get your groove on! Priced at $22.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl0/1/15111/02_2008/dance-mat-for-wii-1.preview.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image center preview&quot; height=&quot;280&quot; width=&quot;550&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Test Your Triva Knowledge With Smarty Pants For the Wii</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/928438</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;When I went home for the holidays I knew my family would go nuts over &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/tags/guitar+hero&quot; &gt;Guitar Hero III&lt;/a&gt;, but I had no idea the screaming and hollering that would ensue when I popped in &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.amazon.com/Smarty-Pants-Trivia-for-Everyone/dp/B000UUWHS8/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&amp;amp;s=videogames&amp;amp;qid=1199670022&amp;amp;sr=8-1&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Smarty Pants&lt;/a&gt; for the &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/tags/nintendo+wii&quot; &gt;Wii&lt;/a&gt;. Picture old-school &lt;b&gt;Trivial Pursuit&lt;/b&gt; meets electronic &lt;b&gt;Jeopardy&lt;/b&gt; and that&#039;s exactly what this game is about — plus the additional fun of being able to use a wiimote! Smarty Pants is a new trivia game that comes with 20,000 questions across eight different categories that are suitable for both adults and children. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl0/1/15111/01_2008/IMG_2910.preview.JPG&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image center preview&quot; height=&quot;347&quot; width=&quot;500&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Although you can play this game alone, it&#039;s certainly more fun with friends or family as questions are timed and you are able to play simultaneously. You can even enter your age for age-specific questions to increase the difficulty level (although in my case it made me want to brush up on my trivia knowledge)! Other fun features include being able to import your Mii avatars, having &quot;dance-offs&quot; for additional points, and participating in wiimote tug-of-wars when players buzz in at the same time. Smarty Pants is currently priced at $40. &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>The Results Are in: Your Favorite Video Game of 2007 Was. . .</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/908277</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;After tallying the votes, the &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/879124&quot; &gt;favorite video game of 2007&lt;/a&gt; was &lt;a href=&quot;http://wii.nintendo.com/software_wiisports.jsp&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Wii Sports&lt;/a&gt;, which received a total of 114 votes. Considering the &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/tags/Wii&quot; &gt;Wii&lt;/a&gt; was one of the hottest gaming consoles on the market since 2006, it&#039;s no surprise that Wii Sports has risen to greatness this year. With tennis, baseball, golf, bowling and boxing, Wii Sports is a great collection of games that are interactive, fun, and perfect for all ages. &lt;span class=&quot;inline center&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl0/1/15111/52_2007/wii-sports.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image outline preview&quot; height=&quot;320&quot; width=&quot;400&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.nwiizone.com/nintendo-wii/nwii/wii-sports-new-wallpaper/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Source&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There was a point in time when we reveled in all Wii and Mii news — from funny &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/337286&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Mii tee shirts&lt;/a&gt; and personalized &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/200298&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Mii cake decorations&lt;/a&gt; to the &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/533476&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Martha Stewart Wii cakes&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sure, it&#039;s still cute to hear about &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/153974&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;retirement communities playing the Wii&lt;/a&gt; and the fact that &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/747241&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;they are now available via Amazon&lt;/a&gt;, but I&#039;m not sure I have time to go online and vote on Mii creations. I mean, I spend all my spare time &lt;i&gt;playing&lt;/i&gt; the Wii. What do you think? Are you still Mii crazy?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://teamsugar.com/group/129419/blog/204884&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Source&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Hopefully in the midst of sorting through your &lt;a href=&#039;http://geeksugar.com/tags/must+haves&#039;&gt;must-have list&lt;/a&gt; for November and preparing for your annual &lt;a href=&#039;http://yumsugar.com/tags/Thanksgiving&#039;&gt;Thanksgiving feast&lt;/a&gt;, you have also been gearing up for a feast of a different kind. The kind that involves the return of a certain &lt;a href=&#039;http://geeksugar.com/tags/Super+Mario&#039;&gt;plumber&lt;/a&gt;, a large helping of a new band, a serving of an interstellar society, and a side order of a pimped-out race car. &lt;td&gt;&lt;b&gt;Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 &lt;/b&gt; — In this around-the-world installment, RRR2 is packed with 50 minigames in single or multiplayer mode. One game that brings back thoughts of the playground has you out-burping your opponents and causing damage to their surroundings. Let the games begin! &lt;/td&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Just when I thought that there was a slim to nil&#039; chance I&#039;d be getting my hands on a &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/tags/nintendo+wii&quot; &gt;Wii&lt;/a&gt; before Christmas, a little tech savvy birdie just informed Geeksugar that &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.amazon.com/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Amazon.com&lt;/a&gt; is getting ready to sell a shipment of &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/tags/Wii&quot; &gt;Wii gaming consoles&lt;/a&gt; &lt;b&gt;TOMORROW&lt;/b&gt;! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;That&#039;s right, we are first to report that the Wii&#039;s are expected to go on sale Wednesday morning. Talk about a nice little treat for &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/tags/halloween&quot; &gt;Halloween&lt;/a&gt;!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&#039;ll be sure to keep you posted on availability and further info. &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Shake Your Melody Maker With Wii Music</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/695398</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;If you&#039;re getting bored of &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/tags/wii+bowling&quot; &gt;Wii bowling&lt;/a&gt;, Nintendo has just announced a new addition to the &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/tags/nintendo+wii&quot; &gt;Wii&lt;/a&gt; video game family—Wii Music! Discussed on &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.gearfuse.com/wii-music-revealed-40-instruments-to-chose-from/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Gearfuse&lt;/a&gt;, with Wii Music you can use your Wiimote and Nunchucks to control various musicians. The &lt;a href=&quot;http://geeksugar.com/tags/games&quot; &gt;game&lt;/a&gt; will feature forty different instruments and if you round up a bunch of Mii&#039;s you can have multi-player band experience. The game is set to be released in Japan next year and then Europe soon after. Is it just me or does this game look somewhat entertaining? I can totally picture my family trying to play Wii Music— me and my sisters would be claiming instruments before we even press start!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span class=&quot;inline center&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/users/1/15111/41_2007/wii%20music%20game.preview.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image outline preview&quot; height=&quot;301&quot; width=&quot;550&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Game On! Retirement Home Hosts Wii Tourney</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/673302</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;Four Erickson retirement communities recently joined together for one common goal— to kick some major &lt;a href=&quot;/tags/nintendo+wii&quot; &gt;Wii&lt;/a&gt; bowling butt! As you already know, Wii gaming is &lt;a href=&quot;/630920&quot; &gt;very popular among seniors&lt;/a&gt;, with &lt;a href=&quot;/153974&quot; &gt;Wii bowling&lt;/a&gt; being a top favorite! Here is a video from &lt;a href=&quot;http://ericksonblog.com/ericksonsports/2007/10/02/erickson-sports-nintendo-wii-bowling-championship-game-1/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Erickson Sports&lt;/a&gt;, which showcases some highlights from game one of the first annual &quot;Erickson Sports Nintendo Wii Bowling Championship.&quot; I just love anything related to Wii playing and seniors. It warms my heart and tickles my toes. I guarantee that once you watch this video, you&#039;ll get a huge smile on your face. The players are too adorable! &lt;object width=&quot;425&quot; height=&quot;350&quot;&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Anyways, the inmates were curing their boredom by making chess pieces out of soap and toilet paper — hey they were in prison ok! Is it bad that I got flash backs of those chess pieces when I saw these hand-sculpted &lt;a href=&quot;/tags/Nintendo+Wii&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Wii&lt;/a&gt; earrings on &lt;a href=&quot;http://technabob.com/blog/2007/09/26/is-that-a-wii-mote-in-your-ear/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;technabob&lt;/a&gt;? <title>Seniors Still Love The Wii</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/630920</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;We&#039;ve all heard that the &lt;a href=&quot;/153974&quot; &gt;Wii is a favorite pastime for senior citizens&lt;/a&gt; in fact, the console has even become a staple in &lt;a href=&quot;/533365&quot; &gt;retirement communities&lt;/a&gt; and taught us that &lt;a href=&quot;/161049&quot; &gt;47 percent of all casual game players are 50 or older&lt;/a&gt;, and nearly 20 percent are 60 or older. Sure, the image of granny picking up the Wii is pretty darn cute, but it doesn&#039;t stop there. &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2007420867,00.html&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;The Sun&lt;/a&gt; is reporting that residents as old as 103 have ditched knitting and bridge after getting hooked on the console. Says Barrie Edgar, who is 88, “It’s great fun. We’ve only had it a few days but we can’t put it down.” So, some things really don&#039;t change with age, do they?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/users/1/15111/37_2007/seniors.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image preview&quot; height=&quot;321&quot; width=&quot;440&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Check out the rest of the &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2007420867,00.html&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;OAPs say nurse, I need a Wii&lt;/a&gt; on The Sun&#039;s website. &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Milla Jovovich Plays The Least Amusing Wii Game</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/593175</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;Guessing from her facial expression, Milla Jovovich was really bummed that the Capcom press conference didn&#039;t have any &lt;a href=&quot;/tags/nintendo+wii&quot; &gt;Wii&lt;/a&gt; sports games on hand. Rather than taking part in a fun boxing match, Jovovich got stuck playing &quot;Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles,&quot; which thankfully for her unborn child, required little movement. via &lt;a href=&quot;http://kotaku.com/gaming/game-face/even-milla-jovovich-doesnt-look-hot-gaming-295880.php&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Kotaku&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/users/1/15111/36_2007/millajowii.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image outline preview&quot; height=&quot;375&quot; width=&quot;520&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://image.itmedia.co.jp/l/im/games/articles/0708/31/l_wk_070831cap10.jpg&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Image Source&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Ultimate Wii Remote Kit: Hero Pack</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/553406</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;When it comes to playing the &lt;a href=&quot;/tags/wii&quot; &gt;Wii&lt;/a&gt; I usually keep things pretty simple. My primary repertoire includes Wii Sports (especially Wii Boxing) and Cooking Mama, so when &lt;a href=&quot;http://teamsugar.com/user/tdamji&quot; &gt;tdamji&lt;/a&gt; e-mailed me about the &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.camyinternational.com/heropack/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Camy Hero Pack&lt;/a&gt; for the Wii Remote I was intrigued, but unsure what I would do with it. Then I thought about 8-12 year old boys around the world and how much they love playing Zelda and Wii. Indeed, this must be the ultimate kit for someone&#039;s tot out there. It&#039;s not for sale yet, but the website claims it&#039;s coming soon. It will feature a soft foam blade (you don&#039;t want to really slay those dragons), and an unobstructed IR port allowing the shooting function of the Wii remote to still work.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/users/1/15111/34_2007/Wii_sord.preview.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image preview&quot; height=&quot;263&quot; width=&quot;550&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Martha Stewart Does Edible Geek On Wired</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/429687</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;Homemaking expert &lt;a href=&quot;http://yumsugar.com/tags/martha+stewart&quot; &gt;Martha Stewart&lt;/a&gt; may not have stripped down like &lt;a href=&quot;/187018&quot; &gt;Jenna Fischer&lt;/a&gt; for her cover of &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.wired.com/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Wired&lt;/a&gt;, but she does get her geek on with a baked-to-perfection &lt;a href=&quot;/tags/Nintendo+Wii&quot; &gt;Wii&lt;/a&gt; cake and by revealing her inner techieness. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/users/1/15111/30_2007/marthawiredwiicake.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image right preview&quot; height=&quot;431&quot; width=&quot;305&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Gadget obsessed Martha stays connected with her &lt;a href=&quot;/tags/blackberry&quot; &gt;BlackBerry&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href=&quot;tags/razr&quot; &gt;Razr&lt;/a&gt; (pink perhaps?) and it&#039;s no surprise that the super organized Stewart has a &quot;servery,&quot; a room with two long white marble counters on either side with lots of plugs, where she keeps her gadgets, charges her cameras and stores batteries. She also attempts to keep wires and &quot;crap&quot; (no lie) to a minimum, opting for &lt;a href=&quot;/tags/iPod&quot; &gt;iPods&lt;/a&gt; in every room with wireless &lt;a href=&quot;/tags/speakers&quot; &gt;speakers&lt;/a&gt;. Here are some more highlights from the &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.wired.com/culture/lifestyle/magazine/15-08/ff_howto&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;interview:&lt;/a&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;On the new &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.marthastewart.com/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;marthastewart.com&lt;/a&gt;  re-design:&lt;/b&gt; &quot;I&#039;m working on Marthapedia right now, which is my version of Wikipedia. If you know how to take red wine out of a white cloth napkin better than I do, that&#039;s good to know. We&#039;ll be editing user content, and it won&#039;t be as freewheeling as Wikipedia. Because a lot of this — you have to really monitor it.&quot;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;What geeks can learn from her:&lt;/b&gt; &quot;First of all, they can learn to prioritize, and they can learn how to make things beautiful. It&#039;s about using your hands and your mind to make things work better. Whether you&#039;re a programmer or a seamstress, it&#039;s all about new techniques, simplifying old techniques, and consolidating steps. Making things go faster — but not worse. Better.&quot;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Check out &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.hollywoodrag.com/index.php?/gallery3/image_full2/14586/&quot; ? target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Martha&#039;s Wii Cake recipe&lt;/a&gt;.  <title>Zachary Levi Loves His Wii</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/410425</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/users/0/88/29_2007/NUP_105782_0302_0.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image left preview&quot; height=&quot;400&quot; width=&quot;267&quot;&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Buzz and Pop headed to LA to check out &lt;a href=&quot;http://buzzsugar.com/tags/2007+Summer+TCA&quot; &gt;NBC&#039;s TCAs&lt;/a&gt; and we&#039;re pleased to report that they got some fun insider gaming info on one of the upcoming new shows.  &lt;a href=&quot;http://buzzsugar.com/tags/chuck&quot; &gt;&quot;Chuck&quot;&lt;/a&gt; is set to be a big hit leading into &quot;Heroes&quot; on Monday night and the main character Zachary Levi (Chuck) and his &lt;a href=&quot;http://buzzsugar.com/409107&quot; &gt;goofy sidekick BFF Morgan&lt;/a&gt; are all about gaming.  They revealed that they love their games both in character and in real life as well.  In fact, Levi came to the set one day after a disastrous Wii accident.  Here&#039;s more:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;&quot;Yeah I was playing Nintendo Wii and I got 14 stitches.  I put my hand through a light fixture in my living room.  So I&#039;m cool.  Who can cut their hand open playing Nintendo.  This guy right here (pointing to himself).&quot;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Apparently, Zach hasn&#039;t realized how common it is to get injured while playing the Wii - what with &lt;a href=&quot;299765&quot; &gt;cases of Wiiitis popping up all over the place&lt;/a&gt;.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Stay tuned for more about these adorable goofy geeks, their favorite games and more.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.nbc.com/Chuck/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Source&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Baby Thinks Wii Is Pretty Funny</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/328777</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;Just when I think I&#039;ve almost had enough of the Wii, I am reminded just how great it is. You have to see how this adorable baby boy reacts as he watches his dad play the  &lt;a href=&quot;/tags/nintendo+wii&quot; &gt;Nintendo Wii&lt;/a&gt; - his laughter is infectious and too cute for words!  Either he knows something we don&#039;t or he&#039;s going to be the next best Wii golf player ever. I&#039;d say this one is a near match for the infamous &lt;a href=&quot;/79520&quot; &gt;geeky girl going wild video&lt;/a&gt;!&lt;object width=&quot;425&quot; height=&quot;350&quot;&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

 <title>Would You Play: Bass Fishing Wii?</title>
 <link>http://www.geeksugar.com/330263</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;inline left&quot;&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;/gallery/83331&quot; &gt;&lt;img src=&quot;http://images.teamsugar.com/files/users/1/15111/25_2007/morishitaandfish.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; title=&quot;&quot; class=&quot;image right preview&quot; height=&quot;211&quot; width=&quot;320&quot;&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/span&gt;The best thing about the &lt;a href=&quot;/tags/wii&quot; &gt;Nintendo Wii&lt;/a&gt; and Wii Sports is the fact they promote unorthodox video gaming movement and &lt;a href=&quot;/tags/exergaming&quot; &gt;exergaming&lt;/a&gt; - or as Fergie would say &quot;working on your fitness.&quot; The now infamous &lt;a href=&quot;111249&quot; &gt;Wii diet guy&lt;/a&gt; used Wii Sports - namely tennis and bowling - to help shed nearly 10 pounds in 6 weeks. So what of other &quot;sporty games&quot; that aren&#039;t exactly physical? An upcoming Japanese &lt;a href=&quot;http://kotaku.com/gaming/show-skin/this-is-how-you-sell-a-wii-fishing-game-270057.php&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Bass Fishing Wii&lt;/a&gt; game looks like it plans on keeping the cardio out of the game experience - much like real life fishing. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the gaming geeks at Kotaku, the game has six stages and takes players to locations like the Grand Canyon. It will allow fishing battles via Nintendo&#039;s online service. Is it just me, or does that sound like the most boring Wii game ever?&lt;/p&gt;
