I already showed you a hot retro-modern
Vers Internet radio alarm clock earlier this week (which I'm still kind of obsessing over), but the equally awesome
iLuv INT170 satisfies my need for something futuristic and sleek.
The INT170 comes with all the same bells and whistles I liked in the Vers: Access to thousands of online radio stations via its WiFi connectivity, FM tuner, alarm clock, and an auxiliary jack so you can plug in your iPod or MP3 player. But the best part has to be the remote, so I don't actually have to get up to change the channel!

I'm not in the habit of calling my alarm clocks sexy (mostly because I've developed a hate-hate relationship with mine), but this is definitely the exception.
The
Vers 1.5R ($200) is more than an alarm clock though; it's an iPod dock, an AM/FM tuner, it has a 3.5mm AUX-out port for other MP3 players, and it's all crammed neatly into a tiny package, complete with a 15-watt speaker.
Although I love what it does, I also love how it looks.

Fans of retro styling and modern electronics, this one's for you: The 99-cent
Flip Clock app is an adorable vintage clock that, yes, flips like an actual old flip clock to tell you the time.
It's probably easier to just read the clock on your iPhone's home screen, but I quite like the idea of propping your phone up with Flip Clock on and just pretending it's your actual clock. Without the loud flipping sound.

Interactive alarm clocks are becoming more popular because — people need them!! Sometimes that loud, unnerving, alarm beep just doesn't cut it, so you need a gadget like the
Clocky clock to force you to get out of bed to turn it off! Well, another animated clock called the
Room Tech Beingz ($50) has just hit the market, and it seriously seems like the Tamagotchi of alarm clocks!

For those of you who need a good wake-up call, or easily lose track of time when surfing the net, I've got just the thing —
Kuku Klok! It acts as a virtual alarm clock, so you can set a time and choose from various sounds including cockerel, classic clock, electronic, and slayer guitar. It will even work if your Internet connection goes down, so you don't have to stress about it working or not!
