Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Clip

A Glorious 14-Second Clip From "The Day of the Doctor"

There are 15 days remaining until the Doctor Who 50th anniversary episode airs on Nov. 23, and to quell our impatience, the BBC is giving Whovians the gift of 14 more glorious seconds from "The Day of the Doctor." In the clip titled "Queen Elizabeth's Credentials," we see Clara and Eleven in a gallery or museum being shown something that doesn't seem possible.

A large painting is revealed, as an unseen woman utters, "Elizabeth's credentials, Doctor." A stunned Clara responds, "But that's not possible." Some fans have already noted the Fourth Doctor scarf cameo around the :04 mark.

What does the scene in the painting reveal? Where are the Doctor and his companion? Watch the clip below, and share your theories with us.

We've already seen some stills of the three Doctors meeting in the 50th anniversary episode, but it's not nearly enough to satisfy us! This weekend, we'll be rewatching all of Eleven's episodes, including playing this emotional scene with Amy Pond on repeat.

Before you say goodbye to Eleven, tell us: what are the Matt Smith moments seared onto your hearts? If you have Google+, add your favorite memory to this thread, or tweet us @POPSUGARTech.
