If you haven't declared Michael Fassbender as one of your favorite actors, maybe it's time to get on the train. Playing futuristic android David in the upcoming sci-fi thriller Prometheus, Fassbender transforms himself into a thinking man's robot, built to serve and blend in, as he and the crew of Prometheus venture out into deep space in order to discover the origins of humanity. In this (quietly creepy) two-and-a-half-minute profile from fictional company Weyland Corp., we get to know 8th Generation TIPE (Technological, Intellectual, Physical, Emotional) robot David a little better, and witness his ability to replicate emotions that humans experience every day as he sheds a single tear of sadness for war and violence.
